Saraladevi was a born artist!
While she applied for the 5-Year Government Diploma in Arts course in 1936 at the J.J. School of Arts (Bombay), she was admitted to the third year on the basis of her presentation of. Here, she got trained under the tutelage of Shri Jagannath Ahivasi and obtained her Diploma in 1939.

About The Paintings
Iconic & illustrious paintings created over half-a-century back on varied subjects ranging from ‘शिव महिम्न स्तोत्रम्’ to some only-heard or unheard-of episodes from ‘रामायण’, ‘महाभारत’ and similar ones from the life of ‘कृष्ण’.
Another unique range of paintings showcases ‘नारी प्रतिभा दर्शन’ or the ‘eminent women from around the world’ and a special series depicting the complete journey of life of the father of our nation, highlighting the core values that eventually made a Mohan the Mahatma.
Added to these series are some other interesting paintings that range from simple, natural ex pressions of our daily lives as well as those with specific messages such as freedom, empowerment or devotion.
